Week 10 | Continental Shift

mostly photos and a few words about what we are doing, seeing, eating, and everything else in between...

It wouldn't be an LA send off without a little In-n-Out
And with the next few months of travel planned, we **tried** to leave a few items behind. Not pictured: a few new items we added to our bags 😅.
A placement flight to New York made it a perfect 36 hours to visit friends, grab a few slices of pizza, and enjoy a walk around West Village
Boarding pass printed, backpacks fully packed, and we were ready for the next leg
And when we woke up from our redeye we had made it to Lima, Peru!
We got straight to it and grabbed some orange juice and a Peruvian chicken sandwich for breakfast — the first of many culinary delights in South America
And by the next day, Tyler's family had made it and we were ready to explore Peru!
It might have been 10am, but we were told it was never too early for a pisco sour
There was a beautiful cliffside walk in Lima that we explored filled with activity areas, art, music, food carts, and more
including paragliders!
Most importantly, Makenna found churros in Lima. We won't call it traumatic, but Makenna has always had a love for churros and some very unfortunate stories of them being stolen by seagulls. Luckily we found freshly baked, melt-in-your-mouth churros with no seagulls in sight.
It was a really happy moment for her.
